That's what Darkstone Industries promise: a revolutionary gaming experience, to be revealed at Gamer-Con in sunny California, the ability to play the first-person shooter World at War, based on the allied invasion of Normandy in 1944. But the experience will be like no other—Darkstone aims for nothing less than full immersion.
Radio contest winner Tony Anderson thinks he won the lottery when he's awarded the ability to play the ground-breaking game first. He and his girlfriend Olga set off for the Golden State in pursuit of adventure, although he finds more than he bargained for.
As he discovers more what this "gaming experience" is really all about, the twists and turns of his would-be adventure turn darker, and he's beginning to wonder if he'll ever see home again.
